Kushal Punjabi who plays Aditya in Star Plus’ Santaan has backed out from Sony’s reality show Mr. and Ms. Television. But the dedicated actor that he is, Kushal is shooting non-stop for Santaan to meet deadlines.

Kushal says, “I am down with Malaria and high fever since the past five days. But I don’t want the production house and the actors to suffer because of me so I have continued to shoot. I had to back out from the reality show as one needs to invest more time and energy to it. I have to rehearse, prepare and present an act.”

For those who came in late this was Kushal’s fifth reality show. He has done Fear Factor, Paisa Bhari Padega, Nautica Navigation Adventures and Fun-on-the-run. Kushal says, “Mr. and Ms. Television is my fifth reality show. I am still very sure that I could have won the title. I retired hurt from the show but did not lose. For me health comes first.”

So far nobody is going to replace the actor on the reality show and the celebrity participants will be performing solo on the show.

As they say, Kushal, ‘The show must go on’.
