He’s been an integral part
of The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, but if sources are to be believed,
Shekhar Suman may not be there as a judge in its upcoming fourth season. Our
source reveals, “Thus far Shekhar’s name hasn’t come up for the judges’ slot.
You never know what might happen at the last minute, but at the moment it looks
unlikely that he’ll be approached. While there’s uncertainty surrounding Shekhar’s
name, Navjot Sidhu will continue to be part of the show.” When contacted
Shekhar Suman said, “In the past, I was told that I’ll be part of Laughter
Challenge 10 also, but no one has approached me for the upcoming season.”
But aren’t you keen to be a part of the fourth season? He says, “I’ll give it
a thought only if they approach me.”
When asked whether Shekhar will not feature
in TGILC 4, Star India VP Marketing
and Communications Prem Kamath said, “It’s
too early to say anything. So far we haven’t
begun the process of finalising the judges.
We will let you know of the developments
once they materialise.”
