Saurabh Pande of Jiya Jale fame is a hardcore animal lover. A month ago Saurabh Pande while shooting in Film City, Goregaon, happened to see a pup fighting hard to survive the cold. The soft- hearted actor could not see his state and decided to take him home.

The actor says, “I was shooting when I saw him shivering in the cold. He was so cute that he slept in my arms when I picked him up. He was very feeble and as small as about six inches. I decided to take him home and christened him as Bronzee.”

“He doesn’t have a tail. But he is very lucky as he has got an extra nail and so I jokingly call him Hrithik Roshan. I picked him up on 8 Jan,” adds Saurabh.

The actor also had two rabbits as pets but gave them away after six months as he could not manage to give them time. Saurabh loves Bronzee so much that he is currently referring to a book on dogs. He says, “I think everyone should have the basic knowledge about dogs. I am reading a book titled Caring of Dogs and Puppies which would enable me know more about Bronzee.”
