Bhanujeet
Sudan who became famous as Nihaal (Suhana’s
brother-in-law) in Bhabhi
has come back on the show after a seven month break. The actor took a break to
try his luck in movies which was followed by a torn ligament on the shoulder.
The actor says, “I always wanted to do movies so I decided to take a break
and try my hands in films. I soon realised that it is a business which is passed
on to son from his father. You need to have a Godfather to strike it in Bollywood.” “I
was flooded with offers but they were not from not so promising banners and the
producers whom I agreed to work with kept delaying the project. So after trying
for five-six months I decided to come back to television. This doesn’t mean that
I don’t value serials but one has his own fantasies,” adds Bhanujeet. Bhanujeet
suffered from a ligament injury which resulted in the extension of his break.
He informs, “I fell down and hurt myself which resulted in a ligament tear. It
happened in December and I couldn’t even move my shoulders. Since then I am going
through physiotherapy. I am still not cent percent fit and it is going to take
another two months to recuperate completely.” Talking about his
character Bhanujeet says, “It is going to be a total positive character as it
was always. The audience does look up to you and so I don’t want to portrait any
negative character and have negative influence on even one person.” Bhanujeet
claims that he had got offers from many production houses and new channels but
he decided to come back with Bhabhi. He says, “I came back with the same
show because of the team-spirit of the cast and crew. I have worked for almost
one and a half year for UTV and we share a special bonding. We have gone to places
like Vaishnodevi and Goa together.” “We all have been together during
the ups and downs of the show. Also I love the character Nihaal which is very
close to my heart,” adds Bhanujeet. Talking about Kanchi
Kaul who has replaced the lead Richa
Gujrati, he says, “I have not met her as we don’t shoot together. But
I had seen her once and I think she is amazingly beautiful.” As
the saying goes, subah ka bhoola jab shaam ko ghar aaye to use bhoola nahin
kehte!
