Ater his stint in Sollah Sringaarr on Sahara One, Manoje has bagged a meaty role in Sony’s new venture Salaam Zindgi. He’ll be playing the love interest of Manya Sharma (Pariva Pranati).

“I took on this show as I liked the character Karan Verma. Besides it’s almost a parallel lead so the offer is all the more exciting,” says Manoje

Elaborating on his character he says, “Karan is very straight- forward in life and he is always clear about what he wants. He is also very fun- loving and charming.”

“He sees Manya at Aakash’s (Abhay) wedding and falls in love with her. Though initially she misunderstands him slowly the entire problem is sorted out. In the coming episode I’ll let Manya know about my feelings for her. I can’t reveal anything beyond this,”

What’s the status on your show on Sahara? “Well currently I’m in jail for murdering my own wife. I essay the role of a psychopath in the show. I don’t know when I will be called back in Sollah Sringaarr as in this industry you can never predict anything,” he concludes.
