Sony's
new cop show is soon to go off air. It's
being said that the TRPs of the show were
declining day by day and thus the channel
decided to pull it off air. We called up
Pariva aka Manya, the lead protagonist,
to confirm the news.
"Yes, it's true that the show is going
off air. I don't know the reason but I was
already prepared for it," says Pariva.
Elaborating
further, she says, "From the day when
this show started, I was ready for all this
stuff. It's not that I didn't believe in
this serial, but such kinds of serials are
very challenging and find it tough to survive."
"Since January, I have been getting
offers from different production house for
new shows but I refused as I was committed
to Salaam Zindgi. I've no regrets
about the show going off air as I have had
my share of good memories doing it,"
she adds.
So what's next in the pipeline? "For
now, I've a few offers in hand but I'm yet
to decide which one to choose," she
concludes.
If the sources are to be believed, the show
will be pulled off air in the coming week
itself. Attempts to contact channel head
Albert Almeida for a comment on the development
proved futile till the time of filing this
