Zarina Wahab, the veteran actress who was last seen in Virrudh has bagged an important role in Zee’s Maayka. She has entered the show at the eleventh hour and will be essaying the role of the mother of the two protagonists.

“I essay the role of Mahi and Soni’s mother in the show. It was shocking and confusing for the viewers but this twist was decided at the eleventh hour by the team,” says Zarina.

Elaborating further she says, “I was called on Saturday for the offer and we started to shoot the scenes on Sunday for the coming day’s telecast. For now I have been given instruction that I’m their mother,” she avers.

“I don’t have any idea of how they will portray me in the coming episodes. Even I’m trying to figure out what’s next. It’s a big and an important role as far as I know,” she explains.

Well, this is a big twist in the show. Let’s wait and watch whether this helps in boosting TRPs of the show.
