Marathi movie channel, Zee Talkies, is geared up to release its second venture - De Dhakka throughout Maharashtra on 16 May. This would be one flick to look out for, reason being: Even before its theatrical release, the movie has bagged two Maharashtra State awards for Best Supporting Actor- Siddarth Jadhav and Best Singer- Arati Ankalikar.

Post the success of Saade Maade Teen, Zee Talkies' new film De Dhakka is based on a rural background. It's a story of the new generation, which knows no social or financial boundaries and can work to any extent to achieve their goals. The principal characters of the movie stay steadfast to their decisions and by pushing hard, they finally achieve their goals hence proving to the world - irada pakka to de dhakka!


De Dhakka is produced by acclaimed film personality, Mahesh Manjrekar and is presented by Zee Talkies. Manjrekar has also scripted the story while the movie has been directed by Sudesh Manjrekar and Atul Kale. The cast of the film includes Shivaji Satham, Makrand Anaspure, Siddarth Jadhav, Medha, Saksham Kulkarni and Gauri Vaidya.
