Ami Trivedi who is currently
seen in Sahara One’s Zaara as a lead has almost completed her shooting
schedule for the show. The gracious actress is planning to fly to London to meet
her dad now. She has managed to get some time off from her other show Indiadhanush
on NDTV Imagine. “Only
one shooting schedule is left of Zaara, after that I’ll take a small break.
I’m eagerly looking forward to meet my dad,” says Ami.
Talking about
her plans she elaborates, “I’ll be flying on 21st of this month and will be back
by 3rd June only. It’s been long since I met my father. I’ll take up new projects
only after I return.” It’s been hardly any time since you
entered and the show is going off air. What are your thoughts? “Yes, I’m feeling
bad as we had a gala time on the sets during the shoot. At the same time an actor
needs to grow so I’m sure that after playing such a good role in Zaara,
I’ll definitely move ahead in my career,” she states. Tell us about
Indiadhanush. “I’m enjoying each and every episode of the show. I’ve not
seen Surbhi but this is a great experience. It’s amazing to know how tribal
people make chutni from red ants,” she avers. “There is a
place in India where every year a big cultural mela takes place. The specialty
of the mela is that it’s a mixture of Hindu and Muslim customs. They come
together and share their tradition,” she adds further. What kind
of role are you looking forward to in future? “Well I’ve not yet decided but recently
I was offered a negative role. It was good but due to shooting schedules of Zaara
I could not take it,” concludes Ami. Well for now Ami is set to
fly high. So Bon Voyage!
