Producer Shobhna Desai is coming up with her new show on Star Plus titled as Hamari Devrani . And this time round Shobhna is joined by her two sisters Jhankana Desai who is a renowned Gujarati stage artist and Saloni Desai who is the stylist of the show.

Shobhna Desai who has earlier produced successful shows like Shagun, Thodi Khushi Thode Gham and Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka, says, “It feels like home when we three work together. With your kinfolk working with you there is no ego-clash and one can hold discussions on almost everything.”

Jhankana Desai, Shobhna’s elder sister says, “It feels great to be working with Shobhna as she has a distinct vision and creative outlook towards her shows. In this show all three of us are contributing. It’s like constructing a building together. I just hope people appreciate our hard work.”

“This is the second show that I am doing with Shobhna. Earlier I had done S.D.P’s (Shobhna Desai Productions) Durgesh-Nandini. The advantage working with Shobhna is that I can work more freely and can experiment. Though being a Gujarati it becomes easy for me to style the characters belonging to a Gujarati household as in the case of Hamari Devrani”, adds Saloni Desai.

Wouldn’t the timing affect the expected the TRPs of the show? Shobhna says, “I am sure people will like the show and let’s hope that the channel pushes it to the primetime slot.”
