Vineet Singh , the singer who got rave reviews from judges Himesh Reshamiya, Ismail Darbar, duo Jatin-Lalit and Aadesh Srivastava on Zee's music-based reality show SaReGaMaPa Challenge 2006, has got his dream song as a singer. He has sung the title track of superstar Kamal Hassan's Dasavatharam.

Says an excited Vineet, "This is a dream-come-true song as Dasavatharam is a very big project down south and is much talked-about nationwide. I have recorded for the title track Come, dance with me in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. I expect great response from my listeners."

Talking about his second innings on television in Star Plus' reality show, Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar, the singer is very happy being a participant of the show but is equally disappointed as he couldn't make it to the Champions' squad, despite being adjudged as the top scorer amongst the top four challengers. Everybody was surprised when even Rahul Vaidya, who claims to be a very good friend, did not cast his vote in Vineet's favour.

He says, "Undoubtedly, it is disappointing that despite scoring the highest I did not get through the Champions' squad. I also received calls from my fellow challengers who felt that I deserved to be in the Champions' squad. It seems that everybody has huge expectations from me and they want me to perform better than what I have been doing so far. I can assure all my listeners that I am soon going to be in the Champions' squad."

So did the singer confront Rahul about the vote? "I did not bring up the matter with anyone. I'm just gearing up to do better and prefer to concentrate on my upcoming performance", says Vineet.
