Aashka Goradia, who dazzled on Sony's Mr & Miss TV, has bagged a new show on Zee. The gorgeous actress will enter Sphere Origin's Saat Phere. With her entry the show is all set for a new twist and turn in Saloni (Rajshree Vaidya) and her family's life.

"I'll be entering the show as an illegitimate daughter of Narpat Singh (Mohan Bhandari). Definitely this will be followed by a change in Saloni and her family's life," says Aashka.

Elaborating on her character she explains, "My character's name is Kalika. She is a very responsible girl and will soon take a revenge on her father. She has grown up under the notion that her father has left her and that's the reason why her mother Shyama (Amita Nangia) is in an asylum. She becomes a lawyer and takes only women's cases of dowry or harassment. You can say that I'm playing a feminist in the show. Soon I'll be entering Saloni's house," she adds.

Is it a negative role? "Well I can't tell you that but yes, my character will completely shock the audience for sure," she says.

What was the reason for taking up this show when she was having a pretty good stint in Mere Apne? "In television the roles for women are limited. Saat Phere is a good show and I've heard lot about it. I like my character and later on it's going to be very interesting," she concludes.
