Puja who is currently seen in Dheeraj Kumar’s Waqt Bat Batayega Kaun Apna Kaun Paraya will soon be seen in a negative role. The ravishing actress was last seen in Balaji’s Kayamath.

Puja says, “Well the role is not out and out negative. You can say that it will have grey shades in it.”

Explaining about her character she says, “Protima is a loveable girl who is attached to Rudra (Payal). Both sisters love each other and support each other. Our relationship in the show is such where I can give her everything including my boyfriend Rudra.”

So where is the negative aspect? “Well that will come in the later episode. It’s still a lot of time. There would be such a situation which will force Protima to turn negative.”

Why did you opt out from Kayamath? Well I had been essaying Suyesha’s role for almost ten months. Initially when I started my character was interesting as I played a psycho but later it turned out to be a comic one. I did not like the way my personality was shaping up so I backed out from the show,” she confesses.

“In my last days in Kayamath I just shot for one day in three months. There wasn’t any hassle of me leaving the show but yes I had to give them a month’s notice before leaving,” states Puja.

She was offered another role in Balaji show Kasamh Se. “I was offered a role of one of the daughters but now I don’t want to do a character role. If I go back to Balaji I would want to do a lead. Currently, I just want to focus on Waqt but later when the show is totally established I will take up another project,” she adds.
