Zee TV and UTV’s upcoming reality show Dance India Dance will provide a chance for unheralded choreographers to make their mark. Geeta Kapoor, who for years has assisted noted choreographer Farah Khan, is set to be a part of this show.

When contacted, Geeta said, “Yes, I have been offered but I haven’t signed on the dotted line yet. Besides, the TV strike did not make matters easy for us. Allotting dates in such a situation is not easy. Things will emerge clearer now that this impasse has ended.”

Geeta has assisted Farah in films like Om Shanti Om and most recently Dostana.

Dance India Dance will feature unheralded choreographers who will train the contestants (non-celebs). The auditions for this are currently taking place in major cities.
