Wedding bells are set to toll in Jasuben Jayantilaal Joshi’s family. It’s not one but three weddings on the cards. Prior to the D-day, there’ll be the engagement ceremony rather ceremonies. Three children from the Joshi family, Pinakin, Aarti and Chirag will be getting engaged.

While Pinakin (Krishna) finally gets a step closer to marrying his lady love Nandini (Ketaki), Aarti (Upasna) and Chirag (Hemen) will be meeting their fiancés for the first time. Stepping into the groom and bride’s shoes are unheralded actors Raja Bherwani and Preeti Gandhwani. Raja plays Ravi while Preeti is his sister (Roshni). Savita Rao plays Nalini - mother to the two siblings.

Ravi’s sister Roshni will be getting engaged to Chirag. There is an interesting tale to Ravi and Aarti’s relationship. Throwing light on it, Raja says, “Ravi’s character is similar to that of Ajay Devgan in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. Aarti confesses to Ravi that she loves another man. Upon learning this, Ravi ala Ajay Devgan goes on the hunt for this man. Unlike the film, Aarti isn’t in any relationship with this man. In fact, she’s never spoken and has only seen him couple of times. There will an introduction of a Salman like character later. However, eventually Aarti realises that Ravi is her true love and marries him.”

For the moment though viewers can catch enjoy the engagement ceremonies in the coming episode on Monday, 13 October.
