Deepraj Rana to enter in Betiyann

Deepraj Rana is back on television with Zee TV’s Betiyann. The actor who was not seen on TV for quite sometime will mark a return in a negative avatar. He will essay the character of Balwant Chabra, a property dealer. The character is reportedly inspired by Boman Irani’s character in Khosla Ka Ghosla.

Rana says, “I am playing the role of a crooked property dealer Balwant Chabra. This is a negative character but will also have shades of comedy to it. This is a cameo which is expected to last for three months. I will ploy against the five daughters of the Garodia family. A member of the Garodia family sold their property to me and now the girls are trying to take it back from my clutches.”

So, is the role inspired by Boman’s character in Khosla Ka Ghosla? “Yes to an extent. But the whole characterization depends upon the creative team. Let’s see how the character shapes up. I am going to start shooting from day after tomorrow”, signs off the actor.
