The
period post IPL will bring in both the good
and the bad news. While many new shows will
come on air post IPL for many the death
bells will ring. One such show that may
be buried in June is Sony’s Aathvaan
Vachan. Low TRP ratings could
be the reason for it being pulled off air.
We
sent a text message to Sony’s fiction head
Sanjay Upadhyay and asked him about the
fate of the show. This is what he replied,
“The show has been on air for a pretty long
time but has not lived up to its promises.
We are closely watching and have informed
the producers for the same but no decision
has been taken as of now.”
Commenting on the same Vishal
Singh the lead actor said, “Well
it’s not confirmed yet and I do not know
anything.”
Dimple Inamdar who plays Manali’s sister-in-law
informed, “Recently the show has been given
an extension of fifty episodes but it’s
not confirmed yet whether it will go off
air or not.”
When contacted producer Srishti Arya said
she did not wish to comment on this.
The buzz has it that Palampur
Express may replace Aathvan
Vachan.
