Rohit
Roy is set to take over from Shiv
Pandit as the host of Jhalak
Dikhhla Jaa 3. Well, this
is not an April Fool Joke like the one played
by Koena Mitra. The buzz is that the channel
wasn’t quite happy with Pandit’s performance
and so they’ve replaced him with Rohit Roy,
who had anchored the second season.
 Confirming
the news, Rohit
Roy says, “I was the first choice
to host the third season but I couldn’t
take it up before as I was busy with other
commitments. They approached me again and
this time I was free to take up the offer.”
Meanwhile, Shiv Pandit has scoffed at
tales of him being sacked.
“It’s true that I will not be hosting Jhalak..
anymore but I want to clear that I haven’t
been sacked. I was committed for only few
episodes and now that they’re complete,
I can concentrate on my two films,” Pandit
chided.
