Producer Asit Modi of Neela Telefilms is known to look after his actors. So, when the ladies from his show Taraak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah requested for a change in location, Modi happily threw a picnic for his distressed damsels. So, a total of 125 members headed to Tikuji ni wadi Water Park.

“We were all tired shooting at one location and desperately needed a break. So, we requested our producer for a change in location. To our utmost surprise, Asit ji took us all to Tiku ji ni wadi Water Park. It was work and play at the same time. As per the script, the men refuse to come thus it’s just the ladies and their children who go for the picnic. I nearly had an accident when I fell off my dashing car. Luckily, I didn’t hurt myself,” said lead actress Disha Vakhani.

Well, such an outing must have burnt a hole in the producer’s pocket. Modi though looks at the brighter side.

He says, “I had to bear the expense for all 125 people. The cost was equivalent to the expenses required for two episodes. However it was a good outing for all of us. Even Shailesh Lodha came down from Jodhpur. The men too were there but it’s just that they were not meant to face the camera.”
