After playing Tara, now Aashka Goradia will be seen in yet another mini-series of Heroine.... on Sony’s Specials @ 10. Though she is fed up of daily soaps she is very excited with her second project with Madhur Bhandarkar.

When asked why she has said no to daily soaps? She said, “I am open to good scripts but not for those daily soaps that I have been doing since the past six years. I am looking forward to a unique concept.”

So what is your new project Niyati about? She said, “Well, this is a new series called Niyati where I play the title role of Niyati. She is a social activist who fights for those whose voices are being ignored. I have an elder sister in this series, which is played by the talented Lubna Salim who is in jail for some reason. And then there is our rapist father. But I cannot reveal who he rapes. I live with my adopted daughter and suddenly after fifteen years my past comes before me and the story is how I deal with it.”

Aashka is very excited that once again she is working with Madhur Bhandarkar. “When I was doing Tara, he told me that he liked my acting and he would sign me for Niyati also. I am happy that he cast me again.”

Aashka does this mean that we will now see you in Bhandarkar’s next film?
