Bandhan Saat Janamon Kaa is the name of the show. While Colors may or may not continue its association with the Shakuntalam Telefilms and Colosceum Media show for seven lives it sure will give it a new lease of life. Bandhan… has got an extension for six months.

“We’ve learnt that the show has been given an extension of six months. I’m told that we were initially contracted till May, 2009. So you can add six more months to it. Our average TRP has been around the 2 mark. The channel is happy with it and that’s why we’ve got an extension,” says lead actor Vishal Gandhi.

Confirming the news, producer Shyamasis Bhattacharjee says, “It’s true that we’ve got an extension of six months.”

With Bandhan having bitten the bullet for now, the question that begs is where Shreya Creations’ Bhagya Vidhata will be slotted. Also, Uttaran too has raked up its TRPs, thus making it all the more difficult for Bhagya Vidhata to break in the 9 to 10.pm slot.

The buzz is that it will replace Rahe Tera Aashirwad at the 7.00 pm slot. Shreya Creations owner Sheel Kumar yet again claimed to have no idea about the time slot for his show.
