To keep audience interest alive Dulhann is introducing a new face to the show. Sachin Shroff enters the show as a neuro surgeon who accidently meets Divya (Divyanka Tripathi).

Sachin will essay the role of Dr. Shashank Malhotra who is the town’s leading neuro surgeon. He then happens to know about her illness and the personal trauma she’s going through. After understanding the sensitivity of the case he promises to treat her, inspite of the risk involved. This appears to be a ray of hope to an otherwise hopeless Divya.

When contacted the actor said, “This is a cameo for a few episodes. I can’t divulge anything more on this.”

The actor negates any chances of a love angle which may surface between Divya and him. “No, there are no chances of me falling in love with Divya. Infact, I am the one who help the two leads re-unite.”
