Damini Anand aka Cherry of Maayka met with an accident four days ago on her way back home from the shoot. The actress’s car rammed into a stationary bus and she hurt herself under her eye and sprained her hand.

Informs the actress, “I had an early pack up and was heading home. I had almost reached my home when my driver rammed the car into a bus which halted at its stop. The jerk was too hard that I banged my face into the front seat and got a bruise under my eye and sprained my hand. I immediately rushed to the doctor but fortunately nothing was serious and I didn’t sustain any fracture. I had to go back to my shoot the same evening but I couldn’t as I was reeling in pain and was still under the shock. But I resumed shooting the very next day as you can’t afford to take a break when it comes to daily soaps. I think God was kind enough to me that day. I was wearing glasses but fortunately they didn’t break or else I would have damaged my eyes.”

“I am fine now thought there is still a mark under my eye but I must say that my team was very co-operative. They were considerate enough to let me shoot my scenes first and let me go home and take rest,” concludes the actress.
