Indian viewers need not wait any longer as REAL, the brand new Hindi entertainment channel by Real Global Broadcasting Pvt. Ltd. (RGB), has announced going on air from Monday, 2 March. Being a 50:50 joint venture between Alva Brothers Entertainment and Turner International, it will be a part of the Zee Turner bouquet and will be available across the country on cable systems and digital platforms.

Says Sunil Lulla, Director, Real Global Broadcasting Pvt. Ltd., "REAL will start with daily three hours of original programming with a dynamic blend of fiction and reality shows. He further added, "REAL is a smart, fresh and distinctive Hindi entertainment channel for the Neo-Indian who is the urban oriented, outward looking and progressive Indian seeking an alternative, which is not the current stereotypical."

REAL, recently showcased three of its key shows-

* Poker Face, the internationally successful quiz-game show where One Indian surely takes away Rs 1 Crore in just 7 Days. It will be aired Mon to Sunday at 8 p.m

* Vicky Ki Taxi, a weekly drama where unusual stories unfold in the unique setting of a taxi, with the driver Vicky playing the role of a reluctant messiah. To be aired every Friday at 9 p.m.

* Hindi Hai Hum, a compelling drama that brings to the forefront the underlying spirit of unity amongst India's youth. It will be aired Monday to Thursday at 9 p.m
