Shakuntalam Telefilms is coming up with a youth based show on Star One. This is the first time that Shakuntalam is making a youth based show and a show for Star One. Most of the actors playing pivotal roles are finalised.

A source from the production house informs, “Shakuntalam Telefilms is producing a show for Star One. It will launch at the end of May, post IPL, on a prime time slot. It is a love story that revolves around three sisters and three brothers.

Actors finalised for male lead roles are new comers Anuj Sachdev and Karan Thakkar. In all probability Karan Hukku will be playing the role of the eldest brother but things are not finalised. Among female lead roles, only one girl is finalised. She is a new comer named Esha Talwar. Veteran actor Muni Jha and new comer Ajita Kulkarni are playing parental roles. The title is yet to be finalised.”

Producer Shyam Bhattacharya was unavailable for his comment. When contacted co-producer Neelima Bajpai said, “It is a different genre that we are trying. Our earlier shows were based on family dramas whereas this one is based on youth. Since it is about the youth, there is a lot of fun, romance and bonding in the story. I am having fun working on the show.”
