Barely
a month after its launch Zee’s Monica
Mogre Case Files is tipped
to undergo a major revamp. According to
our sources in the show the channel is planning
to cut down on the episodes of per story.
Informs
our source, “The channel is of an opinion
that a story running for 9 episodes is quite
a long time and people lose track of the
story. This affects the viewer’s interest.
So now the channel is planning to cut down
on the episodes of each story. If everything
falls in place post Sudhanshu
Pandey’s story all other stories
will end in just two episodes.”
“We have given the storyline to the channel
and are positive about the results. We are
of the opinion that the channel will accept
the proposal,” concludes the source.
An actor from the show requesting anonymity
said, “During the Republic Day one of the
episodes did not air and both the channel
and the production house weren’t happy.
Even I have heard that the channel is trying
to cut down on the number of episodes per
story. This would also help Bollywood celebs
who can easily give in two days to the show.”
Producer Yash Patnaik rubbished the buzz
and said, “It’s not true at all.”
Ajay Bhalwankar, Zee Programming Head remained
unavailable for the comment.
