Funnyman Jaspal Bhatti is all set to produce a weekly sitcom for SAB. The show is tentatively titled as Thank You Jija Ji that’s written and directed by Bhatti himself. Not to forget that he’ll act in it too.

Bhatti’s production Mad Arts will be conducting auditions in Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh to pick actors for this show. “We can train the talent to our requirement as now we have our own school’, said Bhatti.

The serial will be shot at Mad Arts Studio. "I enjoy working with fresh talent which could be moulded, although lot of effort goes into it", Bhatti added.

Talking about the show, he says “It’s tentatively titled as Thank You Jija Ji. It is about the family relationships and the official working of an IAS officer. It’s a weekly show. I’m also acting in the show. In all probability, it will launch after the Indian Premier League.’

The auditions will be held at Mad Arts Film School in Mohali on 24 February.
