Mithun Da’s dress code has become the topic of discussion on the sets of Zee’s Dance India Dance. The actor has been seen wearing long velvet coats in loud colours which are a nightmare for his designer. But what is worth a mention is not his bad dress sense but the elaborate broach that he wears. This broach costs a whopping Rs 1.5 lakhs!

While the creative team desires to give Dada a new contemporary look which will appeal to the classes, Mithun being a man of the masses has put his foot down on the proposed look.

But the legendary actor is indifferent about it. He says, “Yeh Mithun ka style hai, log Dada ko aise hi pehchanten hain, main koi corporate main kaam nahee karta ki formal coat-pant pehnu. Main toh yeh hi pehnuga jise jo sochna hai soche. (This is Mithun’s style. And people know me for my style. I am not working in a corporate house where one is expected to wear a suit. I will wear this let people think whatever they wish to).”

A Rs 1.5 lakh broach for mass appeal. How’s that??
