An all new season of Splitsvilla has 10 girls and 10 boys vying for each others attention. A departure from the earlier season, which had 20 girls and two boys, this season too promises to have the staple ingredients of a typical masala show.

The location is Goa, the villa is all new, and the excitement is high. "We tried to explore the concept of Multiple Attraction Disorder (MAD) this time and we are totally amazed at what we are seeing," says Rajiv Laxman, Creative Director Entertainment at Colosceum, which is producing the show. "The passion, twists, and the complex equations that the content of the show has thrown up are truly spellbinding."

Splitsvilla 2 will launch on March 7, 2009 and is expected to last for 13 weeks. This season of Splitsvilla 2 will be hosted by the charming and charismatic Nikhil Chinappa. The earlier season of Splitsvilla did include some of the participants from Roadies, but this time, Splitsvilla 2 has a completely fresh cast.

The first episode of Splitsvilla 2 airs on MTV at 7 PM.
