Following
the success of Chhote Miyan, Colors
will now take their stand-up
show to another level with Chhote Miyan
Bade Miyan. As the title suggests, for
the first time ever we will see a professional
stand-up comedian perform with a Chhote
Miyan.
As per sources, the shoot of the show will
start from 12 March and will air at the
same time slot as that of Chhote Miyan.
While the children will be chosen among
participants of the ongoing Chhote Miyan,
one is curious to know who the professional
stand-up comedians will be. Few names that
are doing the rounds are of Chandan Prabhakar,
Kuldeep Dubey, Khayali and Rajiv Thakur.
The
absence of names like Raju Srivastav, Sunil
Pal and Ahsaan Qureshi is baffling. When
contacted, Ahsaan Qureshi said, “Apparently,
I’m hearing that the Raju Srivastav, Sunil
Pal and Ahsaan Qureshi are very expensive
thus the channel doesn’t want them.”
Meanwhile, it’s widely speculated that
Rahul
Mahajan will continue
as a judge. There’s no word on the other
judge Sachin Pilgaonkar. Kapil Sharma will
remain as host. Juhi Parmar, who recently
got married, will not be part of Chhote
Miyan Bade Miyan.
