We
always knew action scenes can be both dangerous
and painful. And the lead actor of Saat
Phere Sharad
Kelkar vouches for it. The actor
hurt himself day before yesterday while
shooting an action sequence of Saat
Phere and tore two knee ligaments.
Informs
the actor, “This was an action sequence
in a jungle where I was chasing Urvashiji
(Nivedita Bhattacharya) and I was required
to jump and skip. Unfortunately whilst doing
the first shot I stretched the back of my
knee but since it didn’t hurt me that time
I didn’t take it seriously and continued
shooting. But again my knee stretched twice
during the sequence. I completed the sequence
and later the pain aggravated and I couldn’t
bear it. It was then that I told everyone
that I needed to see a doctor.”
“The doctor told me that I have torn two
of my knee ligaments and strictly advised
me not to move too much. It will take 5
weeks to heal and thus I have requested
my producers to cut down on the scenes that
require me to move or run. I am not shooting
today which has come as a respite to me,”
concludes the actor.
It is to be remembered that earlier too
Sharad
met with an accident and had fractured his
leg.
How about getting your legs insured Sharad?
