When it comes to our TV shows, then it’s ‘kuch bhi ho sakta hai’ (anything’s possible). Fathom this; Sahara One show Kaisi Laagi Lagan, which has been on air since October 2008, is now rechristened as Shubh Kadam and lead actor Asmit Kaushik will be replaced by a new face.

When contacted Asmit said, “This is a matter which I’ll be discussing with my creative director. I’ll give you a final word in two day’s time.”

However, an actor requesting anonymity says, “Well, the title has been changed to Shubh Kadam. I’m told that was supposed to be the show’s original title. I’ve just learned that Asmit will be replaced by a new face. That will probably happen by tonight.”

Producer Siddharth Malhotra remained unavailable for comment.
