After Ragini – Ranbir’s wedding on Bidaai, there is another couple who is going to wed on Rajan Shahi’s second show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The on – screen couple to tie the knot is Shourya (Ather Habib) and Varsha (Pooja Joshi).

Says producer Rajan Shahi, “This is the first wedding on the show and thus it is shot with high production values. The costumes and jewellery are taken special care of and the grandeur of the sets is the highlight of the sequence. Yeh Rishta is about two couples and their two stories. Where one couple discovers love post marriage the other marries after falling in love with other. Varsha and Shaurya essay the latter. The sequence shows how the two conservative families get convinced for their marriage.”

“But before the wedding the cameo of Ali Merchant will air. Ali’s is a very important cameo as he plays the catalyst to number of things that take place in the show. It is his presence that would trigger off the main story. He is a fabulous actor and after this appearance I am sure he would emerge as one of the major faces of the TV industry,” enunciates the producer.

Ali’s entry will air sometime in the next week.
