Define
fashion?
Fashion to me is being updated with latest
trends and along the latest lingo and attitude.
There is a certain attitude that people
carry and even that changes with time.
Who chooses your
clothes?
I
choose my clothes. I have a good sense of
dressing and styling so I don’t feel the
need of any one else’s help. Only you can
know your body type and what suits you well.
Do you like to
accessorise yourself?
No. I am a simple dresser. I do not like
wearing jewellery. Actually, the way you
accessorise changes with time. When I was
in college I used to try different types
of ear rings. But now I just like wearing
few rings, good foot wear and a bag. I have
fifty pair of shoes.
Is there any particular
brand that you prefer for clothes?
No. More than brands and stores, I prefer
boutiques as the collection in boutiques
is unique compared to the brands that have
mass production.
What is your favourite
destination for shopping?
I stay in Lokhandwala so I just have to
step out of my house and stroll around shopping.
I also like shopping in Bandra.
Which are the
clothes that make you feel comfortable?
I always wear something that is super comfortable
be it for any occasion. I usually wear jeans
and a top or a dress or a skirt and a top
while going out. At home I wear my pyjamas
and shorts.
Who is your favourite
designer?
I don’t have any favourite designer as such
but I like the work of Sabyasachi Mukherjee.
His work is different as it is traditional
yet modern.
A must have in
your purse?
Perfumes, a lot of hair and skin products
along with a chocolate. Having a chocolate
really helps when you are feeling low on
energy or to enhance your mood.
What are the make-up
products that you prefer?
Since I have to wear make-up for most of
the time, I prefer very good quality products
and try to keep it minimal. I love wearing
blush-on and as far as the brand is concerned
I prefer MAC. I am fortunate to have been
blessed with a good skin so I don’t have
to apply much of foundation.
A fashion tip.
Though following trends is important but
one must make sure the trend suits you.
Check yourself in the mirror and make sure
it suits you before wearing it.
A make- up tip.
Go natural and keep it simple.
Highlight your best features and camouflage
your flaws. One learns this trick with time.
