With the popularity of their show, Aap Ki Kachehri Kiran Ke Saath, Star Plus takes an innovative step with Aap Ki Kachehri Aap Ke Sheher Mein. With this initiative, the show has moved beyond television to touch the lives of more real people in real situations, replicating the concept of Lok Adalat outside of the television screen. This is to create a social movement in the country and revive the traditional way of dispute arbitration by respected members of a local community. Eminent personalities from Mumbai representing different walks of life like social service, judiciary, state administration and the police are coming together to create a platform in different cities in India.

Aap Ki Kachehri Aap Ke Shaher Mein will be open for the people of Mumbai to witness Apni Adalat live at Ambedkar Maidan, BDD Chawl, Worli on February 7th 2009 from 6:30 pm-930 pm.

The Apni Adalat at Worli will be attended by MLA Sachin Ahir, Pooja Oberoi representing a NGO, Vilas Marathe, ACP, Worli Area Zone, Jayashree Akolkar, Advocate and Siddharth Basu, Producer, Big-Synergy. At the session, cases will be resolved by eminent panelists on the same lines as the cases presented on Aap Ki Kachehri with Kiran Bedi.
