Manoj Tiwari’s first step into politics has gone horribly wrong. The Bhojpuri superstar had recently joined the Samajwadi Party and will be contesting from Gorakhpur.

Ever since, he’s entered politics, Manoj has had to face many a hurdle. A few days ago Tiwari and other SP leaders fell down when the stage collapsed. In another embarrassing incident, the actor escaped unhurt when UP police lathi charged protesting SP men.

And last night (Feb 6) two motorcyclists were reportedly crushed to death by a car that was part of Tiwari’s cavalcade in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.

Deputy Superintendent of Police S.Ali has reportedly stated that the incident took place on Friday night. The two victims have been identified as Arjun and Raj Kumar from Unwal village in Gorakhpur, were reportedly mowed down by one of the cars in the actor’s convoy.

However, while talking to Tellychakkar, SO, Khajni police station, Amar Singh says, “It is still not clear as to whether it indeed was one of Mr.Tiwari’s cars that killed the two. Thus far there have been no witnesses. An enquiry has been initiated and we’ll come out with a report soon.”

Though Manoj Tiwari was unavailable to Tellychakkar for his version in some TV reports the actor has denied such an incident taking place.
