Despite it all there is no recipe for success. The small screen is the big screen now. With so much money being spent on television shows it is getting as big and good as the big screen. Some of the shows that launched last year have raked in the moolah but will the good times continue for them? No one can tell.

Bidaai (Star Plus):

The show will sustain its popularity and position throughout the year. The most fruitful phase will be from the beginning of the year till October.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Star Plus):

This show will have an average run till 14 March 2009. It is observed that during this period the production house will encounter some problems or losses. The producer is advised to avoid any complications or unnecessary controversies. It is from the month of November that this show will become popular.

Balika Vadhu (Colors):

The show will continue to garner popularity in the year 2009. But during May or June of this year the lead actor of the show will have a mishap on the sets while shooting. So the stars advise one to be careful.

Maayka (Zee):

This show will run normally till 25th May 2009 but from 25th May till 20 October 2009 this show will become popular. In totality the show will remain popular in the year 2009.

Bandini (NDTV Imagine):

The time period in which this show has started will provide it its well deserved popularity. One would advice the producer to be cautious during the month of March as there are chances of fire breaking out on the sets. This show on the whole will be popular amongst the audience during the year 2009.

Kitani Mohabbat Hai (NDTV Imagine):

This show initially will encounter some problems as far as the popularity is concerned and will be mediocre as far as performance is concerned. But during March this show will start becoming popular.
