After Shweta Tiwari, Manish Goel, Shekhar Suman and a host of others, guess who is next in line to start a production house? It is none other than the talented actors Priya Arya and Ravi Gosain. The two actors have got together as partners to launch a production house called Spicy Smile India Pvt Ltd which will produce plays, TV shows and ads.

Priya Arya has recently been a part of shows like Karam Apna Apna, Kasturi and Saas v/s Bahu but she has now quit acting to focus on her company.

The first venture of Spicy Smile is an English musical love story on stage. The cast comprises of Barkha Bisht, Amita Chandekar and Kunal Kapoor. It will launch in the last week of March or first week of April. Apart from this play, the creative team is also working on a TV show.

Priya Arya says, “I thought of getting into production because I am a very creative person and acting was not giving the satisfaction that I was craving for. In my acting career, I took up work that I didn’t believe in. So I wanted to do something which I believe in and something that is creatively satisfying. Though I am not taking up acting assignments, I may do something in acting if it is really interesting.”

When asked the kind of TV show that she will like to make, she states, “I want to make something out of the box, something that everybody can relate to and it is not too heavy in the head (sic).”

Ravi Gosain was unavailable for his comments.

Elaborating about her new venture, Priya exuded, “I want to take this company a long way. Many actors start their own companies which shut shop as soon as they start. But I don’t want the same to happen with my company. I have worked very hard for it. It is my dream and I am a person who never lets her dream die. I want it to become the No.1 entertainment company in this world.”
