It
seems that post Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi
Bahu Thi and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii
went off-air all the Balaji loyalists
have become free birds. These actors who
were earlier busy with these two shows now
have ample time to explore projects offered
to them by other production houses. First
it was Ekta's blue eyed boy Hiten Tejwani,
who entered into Hats Off productions' Jassuben
Jayantilaal Joshi Ki Joint Family ,and
now it is big burly Chetan Hansraj who has
stepped into Hats Off's Baa, Bahoo Aur
Baby.

When contacted J.D. Majethia said, "Chetan
is playing the character of Kukku who enters
in the Thakkar family and immediately begins
to irk other males in the family. Apparently,
the men in the house were earlier wooing
Iccha (Deepsshikha) which didn't go down
too well with the ladies. Thus to even the
scores, all female hatch a ploy whereby
they invite Chetan to their house. As per
the tradition of the family, the bhabhis
(daughter-in-law) start showering him with
extra care and attention as he's the guest
in the house. The males of the family feel
left out and envy the extra attention Kukku
gets from their wives. With this we are
just spreading the message that males who
flirt and have affairs outside marriage
still have the audacity to expect their
wives to digest it without creating a whimper.
Such husbands can't even see their wives
getting friendly with another male."
Talking about the length of the cameo,
the producer sighs, ""As of now,
I can't tell you how long would it last
but I can tell you one thing that this is
probably one of the longest running guest
appearances and is coming at a crucial juncture.
His entry is expected to air in the next
couple of weeks. The cameo might be extend
depending upon the need of the story."
This is the second actor from the Balaji
stable who has been roped by Hats Off after
Hiten Tejwani. "We all are good friends
and desire to work with each other. Things
couldn't materialise earlier, as these actors
were busy with their commitments. Chetan
has also done a cameo in Khichdi.
In the past, I didn't have the characters
which could suit them and they didn't have
the time, " concludes JD.
