Payal Sarkar who was last seen in Waqt… on Sony is currently shooting for her third Bengali film. It is like home coming for Payal who is acting in a Bengali project after a long time. The talented actress had started her career with a Bengali film.

The film is titled Cross Connection. Payal started shooting for it from January 1st and it will get completed in a month’s time. “Once the shooting of my film gets over I will come back to Mumbai and take a television serial. I have a few offers in the pipeline. I will take them forward once I return.”

Talking about her films she says, “It is a youth oriented film where I am playing the lead role. I play the role of an engineering student in the film. It will release in the month of April. Thankfully, the shooting of this film has been scheduled in such a way that it will take only a month to finish the shooting.”

“It is always nice experience acting in a Bengali film. Being a Bengali, acting in a Bengali film is close to my heart. But languages don’t matter much. I should be satisfied as an actor,” she excerpts.
