Karan Hukku is all set to make a major comeback with a new show – Hindi Hai Hum -- on a new entertainment channel being promoted by the owners of Cartoon Network India. Talking about this with Tellychakkar, Hukku says, "I am playing the role of a modern, rich, westernised guy who has spent a lot of his time abroad. His family members want him to get married to a village belle and lead a traditional life. He is, as a result, sent to a village for some work."

In the village Hukku comes across a very beautiful girl, whom he falls for. The girl also reciprocates his feelings and cupid srikes. However, a discordant note is struck when Hukku says no to the marriage after discovering that the girl cannot even speak a line in English. "The girl follows him back to Mumbai and makes him understand that language is just a barrier which can be crossed easily if both of them feel strongly for each other. You will need to watch the show for further details!"

Karan refuses to divulge any more details about the show except the fact that it is a Swastik Productions (which also produces shows like Mata Ki Chauki, Saas v/s Bahu) show and the leading lady is someone who has been seen in many serials. The show is all set to launch in the first week of February.
