Mohit wants to invest in property

Money. That's what drives everyone in the final analysis, whether in the glamour world of acting or the hard grind of scripting and producing. Cashin' In sits down with TV celebs to know well they handle their financial matters, and tracks their spending patterns.

How important is money for you?

Money is important to enjoy life and live life according to your convenience but it is not really important. Being satisfied with my work and life is more important to me than money.

Are you an impulsive buyer?

I am neither impulsive nor a restrained buyer. If I like something I buy it without thinking much.

What are the investments you have made?

Currently I am just enjoying what I am earning. I have just started my career and I guess there is still time for me to make investments.

What is your most expensive purchase?

My car Honda City. I bought it just two months ago with my own money. Besides my car, I have bought many expensive watches.

Do you feel financially secure?

Yes, I feel financially secure. I do not worry much about the future. But I am sure I will do well in my career.

Who handles your expenses?

Earlier my parents used to handle my expenses and now I have started handling my expenses.

What was your first salary? What you did with it?

My father wanted to open a bakery and he wanted me to learn the details of this business. So I joined a bakery shop as a trainee. My salary was only Rs. 2,000. I left that job as soon as I received my first month’s salary. I don’t remember what I must have done with that money.

How much money do you carry every day?

I carry money as per my requirement so it really depends.

Any advice for investors?

Though I haven’t made any investment myself I would suggest that people invest in property. My father is in the business of construction so I know how wise it is to invest in property. Even I am looking forward to making an investment in property.
