After a spate of controversies Babul Ka Aangan is going off air. Producer Rashmi Sharma’s show that is tentatively titled Suhagan will be replacing it.

A reliable source informs, “Babul Ka Aangan is going off air on February 5 and a new show produced by Rashmi Sharma will be replacing it from February 9. The shooting of Babul will stop from this week. The reason Babul… is going off air is the drop in TRPs.”

As reported earlier by Tellychakkar, Suhagan has new comers Jayshree and Maninder playing the lead roles and actors like Pankaj Dheer, Neelu Kohli, Guddi Maruti, Madhavi Gogate and Rinku Ghosh playing character roles.

The Creative Head of Fiction Sony said, “I cannot comment on it as yet.”

Producer Ratna Sinha as well as Rashmi Sharma remained unavailable to comment.

Aastha Chaudhary, protagonist of Babul… said, “I have heard about the same but nothing has been officially told to me so far.”
