Mentor
Sambhavna Seth is having a hard time tutoring
her disciple Shamaayal. Well, there’s absolutely
no lack of efforts from Shamaayal but the
Benarasi girl is being constantly bogged
down by health woes. This time, Shamaayal,
who suffers from rheumatic heart disease,
fainted on the sets. While she continues
to garner sympathy votes, other contestants
are no longer sympathising with her condition

An agitated mentor says, “For several weeks,
Shamaayal’s ill health has enabled her to
garner sympathy votes. While we do feel
for her but it’s not fair upon others. There
are some who doubt whether she’s really
ill or not. If she has a heart ailment,
then she should rest at home.”
Shamaayal’s mentor Sambhavna isn’t perturbed
by such allegations. She says, “I’ll be
the first person who is against gaining
sympathy votes. But no one can deny that
Shamaayal has serious issues with her health.
This time, she fainted on the sets. She
fell on her head and all of us got really
scared. A doctors was called quickly and
she given injection and few medicines. This
incident happened during the first performance
of the day. Ours was the sixth performance
thus she had time to recover.”

If she’s got serious health woes then isn’t
it a risk being on such a show? Shamaayal
replies, “Yes, my health is bad but there’s
no way that I can quit the show now. Nor
do I think that I’m gaining sympathy votes
because of my ill health. If that was the
case then I would have been in the danger
zone. It’s only this week that I was in
trouble but that has nothing to do with
my health.”
Meanwhile, there was no elimination on
that day. Sambhavna-Shamaayal and Sanober-Mrigya
Saklani were in the danger zone but the
judges decided against having any elimination.
Also, it’s buzzed that Meghna Naidu will
return as a wild card entry. When contacted,
Meghna refused to comment. Earlier, there
were reports stating that Kashmeera Shah
might be the wild card entrant but that
may not happen.
