As reported by tellychakkar Contiloe’s gag show Arre Deewano Mujhe Pehchano is in trouble but seems that now it has got some respite from the channel. As per an inside source the show has been given a bail-out and will now continue to air till Feb 8.

Informs our source from the show, “The channel did ask us to end the show and we were not supposed to shoot this week. But things have been reworked and we are continuing with the show. The latest on the show is that the finale will be held on 8 February where we will declare the winner of the show. The show that was to run for two and a half months will now end in a month and a half.”

During the press conference of the show the celebrity participants were heard saying that the show will run for three months. When contacted a source close to a participant cited, “We don’t have dates beyond the second week of February so there is no chance that we can continue on the show after that. It has to end in the first week of February.”

Yet another source adds, “It’s always difficult to assemble such big stars and get same dates as they are busy with their other commitments. The show was indeed supposed to end half way but issues have been sorted out and the show will continue as of now.”

We tried contacting Abhimanyu Singh, Producer Contiloe but he was busy in a meeting.

Even Keertan Adyanthaya, Star EVP and G.M remained unavailable.
