Neha Marda aka Gehna of Balika Vadhu fame had a terrible Thursday. No she didn’t have a bad day at work but the actor was struggling to make it to the studio.

Balika Vadhu is usually shot at a grand set in Vasai. Unfortunately, Neha was left stranded after an accident took place on the highway near Naigaum. This led to one side of the road being totally blocked. Thus the actor was left stranded in her car for hours.

We happened to call her while she was going through this ordeal. “I was suppose to reach the sets at 2.00 pm. However, it’s already been an hour that I’m stuck in one place. Though I can’t see it but what I’ve learned it is that some accident has taken place thereby blocking one end of the road.

“My set is barely 15 minutes from here but it been more than an hour that my car hasn’t moved. It’s really hot here. The sun rays are beating into my car. The A/C too is not proving of much help. I’m all frustrated and feel like going home,”

Having reached that far, returning home wouldn’t be an option. “The production people are sending a biker to pick me up but the problem is there’s no room for even a bike to move. I don’t know how long it will take but in this state, I don’t see myself completing my shoot today. Maybe we can shoot just few scenes. Luckily, we have a good bank. But first I want to get out this mess quickly, “says Neha.

Before hanging up, we’d asked Neha to buzz us once she reaches the sets. Thus far we haven’t received any communication. Well, she surely still can be stranded.
