Disguises
are an integral part of Arre Deewano
Mujhe Pehchano and this Friday the four
celebrity prank stars Mahesh Manjrekar,
Mandira Bedi, Rakhi Sawant and Shweta Keswani
will get on to fooling the viewers once
again. What happens when a sad taxi driver,
a mad yoga teacher, a second wife and an
annoying mother get together to raid your
lives?
The
upcoming episode on Arre Deewano Mujhe
Pehchano will see Controversy queen
Rakhi Sawant enacting a lost wife who finds
her long lost husband at a restaurant having
lunch with his other wife. Rakhi in her
stand-up cracks witty one liner on husbands
and their ways to trick their wives. And
last but not the least, Shweta Keswani impersonates
the character of a mother to a superstar
who makes a guy’s day miserable by making
him do embarrassing things, just to win
a date with her daughter. Her stand-up is
about an old woman who won her husband in
a lucky draw.
Mahesh Manjrekar plays a macho taxi driver
who is perpetually upset. His unwitting
customers get caught in his melodrama. Mahesh’s
stand-up is about how a taxi driver outsmarts
a traffic policeman subtly dealing with
the ‘North India’ issue. Actress Mandira
Bedi will impersonate a confusing yoga trainer.
She impersonates the new age instructor
who teaches yoga. She has innovative ‘aasanas’
that would confuse any sane person. Her
stand up as an extension of her gag told
how ‘yog’ and ‘yoga’ are different
wrapping up with a poem in Hindi which she
had written herself.
Catch these acts on Arre Deewano Mujhe
Pehchano on 30 January at 10 p.m. on
