Few weeks ago, Tellychakkar had broken the news of Madhur Bhandarkar producing a weekly show for Sony. We now bring some more details. News has it that noted director Ravi Rai will be directing one of the series in this show.

As per sources, the show will probably launch on 5 March and is tentatively titled Heroine. Ravi Rai will direct one of the series. Actors Sumeet Raghavan and Purbi Joshi will play the leads in this story. The rest of the cast is yet to be finalised.

When contacted, Ravi Rai agreed that he will direct one of the series but refused to divulge any details. “All that I can tell you is this is something I’m excited about. I always wanted to work with Madhur, who I rate as a fantastic filmmaker.”

Meanwhile, Sumeet Raghvan also merely agreed to doing this show.

Among the other directors who are slated to be part of the show are Sohail Kataria, Ashwini Choudhary, Sharboni Deodhar.

Ravi Rai has made successful shows such as Sailaab, Sparsh, Thoda Hai Thode Ki Zaroorat and Teacher.
