Comedy Circus – Chinchpokli to China is garnering attention of celebrities from all walks of life. Be it cricketers, soap opera stars or Bollywood entities. After Suresh Menon, it’s now the turn of Bollywood star Abhay Deol to perform on this Sony show. Abhay will be performing along with Comedy Circus 2 winner VIP (Vijay Ishwarlal Pawar).

A source informs, “Abhay Deol and VIP will be doing a comic act on Comedy Circus... This is for a segment on the show named as ‘Hasti Hasti’. The episode will air on 17 January.”

As reported earlier, Roshni Chopra and Kuldeep Dubey will be coming together to enact in a segment called Ram Milaye Jodi on the show. The Abhay Deol-VIP act is for the same episode.

Producer Vipul Shah says, “For the first time, audience will see Abhay performing on television. In Kaante Ki Takkar and the previous seasons of Comedy Circus, we have worked with TV celebs. But this time we are working with celebrities from other fields. We are taking Comedy Circus to another level.”

Explaining the reason to have Abhay Deol on the show, he says, “Abhay Deol has a funny bone. He has good comic timing, so it was a great idea to have him on the show.”

When contacted, VIP said, “I do not have much idea about the act. I will be in a better position to talk once I shoot for it.”
