Rakeshh Paaul is literally sailing into new territory. He’s now step foot into the world of production. The actor, along with his friend from Navy, has set up a production house and they’ve named it ‘Sailor Today & Rakeshh Paaul productions.’

So, where’s Sailor Today & Rakeshh Paaul productions heading for its first voyage?

“The voyage begins with a ship called friendship. That’s the basic theme when he launch Sailor Today & Rakeshh Paaul productions on 14 March. Captain Sunil Nangia is a dear friend. I’ve known him for a decade now. We always wanted to do something like this but somehow I never got free from my acting assignments. Finally, I’ve managed to do that and so I decided to go ahead with my dreams. Captain Nangia will look at the technical side, while I handle the creative aspect,” said

What are the areas that Sailor Today & Rakeshh Paaul productions will explore?

“Event management, plays and TV serials. We’re beginning with a cricketing event that will be staged in Singapore. I can’t tell you more about it. Ideally, we wanted to start with a play but we’re taking one step at a time. We’re also in talks with a TV channel for serial but that will take some time. For the moment, I’m only looking forward to our launch,” Paaul replied.

Apparently, the actor was to be part of Smriti Iraani’s upcoming show Maniben dot com. However, he’s turned that down and instead is concentrating on his production.

“It’s unfortunate that I’m no longer doing Smriti’s show. Right now, my only focus is on my production. However, that doesn't mean that I'll quit acting. I will now produce and act too. I will need all the best wishes from family, fans and friends,” Paaul concludes.
